Miami signs C.J. Anderson to 4-year offer sheet

In less than five days, the Miami Dolphins could have a replacement for Lamar Miller.

After letting the 24-year-old sign with the Houston Texans Wednesday, the team went after top free agent running back C.J. Anderson Thursday, signing him to a four-year, $18 million offer sheet.

Per Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post:
"Denver has five days to match the offer. If not, Anderson will join the Dolphins. The Dolphins were expected to frontload the contract so the Broncos would be less inclined to match."
Miami was hoping to land Matt Forte, but the Pro Bowler ended up signing with the division rival New York Jets.
