Amendola sticks with Pats, once again restructures deal

For the second straight season, New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is choosing football in January and February over his contract.

The fourth-year wideout agreed to another pay cut Friday, which calls for a maximum of $7.35 million over two years, with an additional $750,000 in incentives and roster bonuses, according to ESPN.

Amendola didn't have much of a leg to stand on in the negotiations, acting as the team's No. 3 receiver and playing only 51 percent of the team's offensive snaps last season.
