When the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills first met in Week 7, one specific play shifted the game's balance from one side to the other.
That play was a late fourth quarter strip-sack by Bills defensive end Mario Williams, who beat Dolphins right tackle Tyson Clabo en route to the quarterback and a turnover for his defense. The fortuitous field position allowed Buffalo to run down the clock and kick a field goal in the final minute to win, 23-21.
Williams recorded two total sacks on the day, and Pro Football Focus credited him with five other quarterback hits and hurries.

Dolphins' O-line emerges from bye unchanged
BY NICK ST. DENIS
The Miami Dolphins boast one of the NFL's most leaky offensive lines, and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman vowed to do some plumbing work over the bye week.
That work apparently didn't involve personnel.
According to multiple reports from the Miami media, the Dolphins' starting offensive line remains unchanged as of Tuesday's practice, which was consistent with coach Joe Philbin's statement last week that the Dolphins "believe in the guys that we have."

Grimes, Clabo have no special intel on Falcons
BY SEAN DONOVAN
For two first-year Miami Dolphins, this Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons will be a reunion with the team they began their career with.
But both players are more focused on the game at hand than facing off against the team that let them go.
"I'm just looking forward to our home opener," cornerback Brent Grimes, who spent his first six NFL seasons with the Falcons, told reporters this week, via the team's website. "It'll be a good atmosphere. We're 2-0, it's our first home game and I think it'll be fun."

Fins seek 'balance' after poor rushing display
BY SEAN DONOVAN
The Miami Dolphins are one of 16 teams standing at 1-0 entering Week 2 after a 23-10 win over the Cleveland Browns.
But no team in the league got as little production out of its running game in Week 1 as Miami. Dolphins ball-carriers totaled just 20 yards on 23 attempts, which put the onus on the passing game to drive the offense.
"You've got to have balance, obviously we did not have that," head coach Joe Philbin said after the game, according to the team's website. "That's no way to live in the National Football League."

Clabo: Just showing up doesn't make me a leader
BY DAN BEGNOCHE
Miami Dolphins right tackle Tyson Clabo has proven he has what it takes to compete in the NFL for nearly a decade. That hasn't changed his attitude.
Miami Dolphins right tackle Tyson Clabo has proven he has what it takes to compete in the NFL for nearly a decade. That hasn't changed his attitude.
Acquired in May to help shore up an offensive line that lost the likes of former first-round left tackle Jake Long, Clabo has shown year in and year out that he can reliable both in the trenches and as a leader. He started every game for the Falcons in his five years there, representing the team in the Pro Bowl in 2010.
Though the 31-year-old is currently one of the most seasoned veterans on the Dolphins' squad, he's not about to just slap a "C" on his jersey without first showing that he's deserving of it.

New Dolphin Clabo in somewhat familiar situation
BY DAN BEGNOCHE
The Miami Dolphins' newly-acquired right tackle Tyson Clabo is probably experiencing a little deja vu.
It was just a little more than five years ago that Clabo was brought on to an Atlanta Falcons team in the middle of a major overhaul. He joined a slew of new faces on the roster that included running back Michael Turner, wide receiver Tony Gonzalez and rookie quarterback Matt Ryan.
Five years later, Clabo has reportedly signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with yet another team in flux, and he's inherited another young quarterback hopeful to protect.

Dolphins still very much in market for veteran tackle
BY NICK ST. DENIS
The Miami Dolphins didn't address offensive tackle in their free agency splurge and opted to veer from the position in the first couple rounds of the draft despite the significant void left by Jake Long's departure. (photo: June Rivera, Flickr)
Their search, however, hasn't ended.
According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Dolphins are hosting former Atlanta Falcons tackle Tyson Clabo Tuesday, a day after courting ex-Baltimore Raven Bryant McKinnie.
