New England a potential (re-)landing spot for Moss

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Randy Moss announced Monday morning via a live Ustream.tv video feed that he plans on returning to professional football. Moss turned 35 years old the same day.

"I just wanna go to a team and play some football," Moss said, according to Pro Football Talk.

For what it's worth, Pro Football Talk also reported that the Patriots "still like" Moss, who visited Patriots owner Robert Kraft after the death of Kraft's wife, Myra.

Moss played for three different teams -- the Patriots, Vikings and Titans -- during the 2010 season before retiring prior to last season.

He was traded from the Patriots during the first part of the 2010 season. Moss caught a career-high 23 touchdowns in 2007, so his chemistry with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is well-documented. However, again, he's now 35 years old.

"Your boy be back for the upcoming season," Moss said Monday.

We'll see.
