Bills' active offseason boosting season-ticket sales

BY NICK ST. DENIS

The Bills made some big offseason moves to better their team, and it's translating to financial success for the organization.

According to the Associated Press, CEO Russ Brandon said Buffalo has sold 4,320 new season-ticket packages since the conclusion of last season.

So far this offseason, the Bills made free agent defensive end Mario Williams the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history, re-signed fan favorite receiver Stevie Johnson and inked defensive end Mark Anderson, who is coming off a double-digit sack season.

The Bills' 37,355 season ticket count from last year was the organization's lowest total since 2001. Buffalo finish 6-10 last season and has missed the playoffs the last 13-straight years.
