Dolphins boast league's best red zone offense

BY NICK ST. DENIS

The Miami Dolphins have found ways to finish games. A lot of that is due to their ability to finish drives.

The Dolphins scored touchdowns on all three of their red zone trips Sunday in a 27-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, improving to 3-0 in the standings and 7-for-8 inside the 20.

Miami's 87.5 percent conversion rate in the red zone ranks as the best in the NFL through three weeks with the Denver Broncos, who are at 80 percent, yet to play.

According to TeamRankings.com, the Cincinnati Bengals are currently the second-most productive team inside the 20, scoring touchdowns 85.71 percent of the time.

The Dolphins converted in the red zone on 55.26 of their trips in 2012.
