The All-World coach-quarterback duo of New England Patriots' Bill Belichick and Tom Brady will be playing in the same foursome at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this weekend.
But first, a little cross-contamination.
Belichick wound up playing his practice round with longtime foe and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning Wednesday. It was presumably the most time the two spent together since the Broncos ousted the Patriots in the AFC Championship nearly three weeks ago.
Brady, an 8-handicap (according to PGA.com), will be paired with pro Ricky Barnes, whose father punted for the Patriots in the 1970s. In the same group, Belichick (a reported 14-handicap) will team up with James Driscoll.
Brady and Belichick will start Thursday at 8:22 a.m. PST at Spyglass.
