Fellow Tiger Spiller showing Watkins the ropes

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins felt pretty comfortable after getting drafted by the Buffalo Bills.

It was just like being in college.

"We have six Clemson guys here," Watkins said Thursday, via BuffaloBills.com. "The transition has been so much easier because they know what goes on around here. They know what to do and the coaches."

The No. 4 overall pick will look to prove himself as the offense's most explosive player, but he'll have to rip that title from the hands of tailback C.J. Spiller, another former Tiger star.

"Since I have been here [C.J.] has been helping me out tremendously," Watkins said. "Just the professionalism that he has right now and trying to teach me the ropes of this system that goes on with working out, eating right. He has been helping me out a lot."

Offensive linemen Antoine McClain and Chris Hairson, along with defensive backs Jonathan Meeks and Darius Robinson, round out the Clemson crew in Western New York.
