The Miami Dolphins announced Monday they signed defensive end Rakim Cox and waived running back Cameron Marshall.

The 6-4, 265-pound Cox joins the Dolphins from the Minnesota Vikings, where he spent a portion of the 2014 offseason prior to being released two weeks ago.

Cox originally signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in May.

A four-year letter winner at Villanova, Cox appeared in 48 games totaling 105 tackles (67 solo), 18 sacks, 33.5 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions.
