Jackson: Gailey's creativity 'a good fit' for Jets offense


The Buffalo Bills backfield just hasn't been the same since Chan Gailey left.

Following a record-breaking year where Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller combined for nearly 2,400 total yards, the two have failed to produce an equally potent attack. It's a situation Jackson feels is a direct result of Gailey's play-calling abilities, skills that are now heading to the New York Jets.

With Gailey now the new offensive coordinator for Gang Green, the hope, at least for Jets fans, is that he can take their dynamic duo in the backfield and get the production that Bills fans saw two years ago.

"He puts guys in different places to make plays," Jackson said via Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. "He was creative. That was one of the reasons C.J. and I thrived in that system. He knew how to create ways for us to get in space."
