Bills' John Miller eager to pick Eric Wood's brain

John Miller, the 6-2, 303-pound guard the Buffalo Bills took in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, is looking forward to working with fellow Louisville alum Eric Wood.

Wood was drafted by the Bills in 2009 and has since become a leader on the offense.

“It’s awesome,” Miller said, via BuffaloBills.com. “I got a chance to work out with Eric Wood at Louisville actually so it’s a great opportunity. I know [Wood] is a great pro, so I look forward to picking his brain and learning from him as we go along."

Miller started 47 games at guard in his collegiate career. It's yet to be seen how quickly he'll develop into a potential NFL starter, but one thing is for sure--he's ready to plow forward in the run game.

“I take a lot of pride in it because I think if you run the ball, it opens up the passing game,” he said. “Just being able to move a guy from point A to point B is what I learned to do and I definitely like to play physical in the run game.”
