Rex Ryan not naming a starting QB any time soon

"We don't need to tell them."

That was Rex Ryan' answer Thursday night regarding whether he would name a starting quarterback prior to week 1 of the regular season.

"Until the league makes us tell them, we can just go right up in there and say, 'We're not gonna say anything," Ryan said, via Syracuse.com. "... The quarterbacks that we're talking about, they're all three different. So plan for all three of them. And I think that's smart on our part."

While Matt Cassel watched on the sideline Thursday against the Cleveland Browns, Tyrod Taylor connected on seven of 10 passes for 65 yards, adding another 41 yards on four carries. EJ Manuel, meanwhile, was nine-for-14 for 111 yards and a touchdown.
