Gailey in mind, Spiller sees 'perfect match' with Jets


C.J. Spiller thrived under Chan Gailey when Gailey was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills a few years back. And now that Gailey is back running an offense with the New York Jets, the soon-to-be free agent tailback is keeping the cross-division option open. Wide open.

Spiller told the NY Daily News this week that because of his familiarity with Gailey and his system, it would be "a perfect match."

"Who knows what can happen, but I’d be foolish not to have those guys on my list," he said. "I had my best years in the league with Chan. So it’d be dumb not to give it serious thought.”
