Tannehill hoping to get TE Cameron more involved

Tight end Jordan Cameron joined the Miami Dolphins this season with a lot to prove.

Coming off an abbreviated year due to injury, the former Pro Bowler is hoping to get back to his 2013 form, while the Dolphins, who lost Charles Clay in the offseason, are hoping the same.

Cameron shined in the team's first scrimmage but was pretty nonexistent in its first preseason game. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is hoping to get the third-year tight end more involved in the offense as things progress this preseason.

"He's doing everything I could ask for from him right now," Tannehill said Monday via the Sun Sentinel. "He's a big play maker for us. Honestly, we'd like to get him the ball probably more than he's getting it right now.

"If we get in the red zone, he's definitely going to be a big threat for us all year."
